Minister Tours SLWSP Sites
Today, the Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Water Development, Honorable Roza Fatch Mbilizi, toured the Salima–Lilongwe Water Supply Project, underscoring Government’s strong commitment to the timely completion of this priority project. The Minister visited all key project sites, including the water intake, Lifuwu Water Treatment Plant works, Katengeza Booster Station works, Mvera Booster Station works, and the Chezi Pressure Break Reservoir works.
In her remarks, the Minister reaffirmed that Government remains fully committed to ensuring the project is completed on schedule, highlighting its importance in improving water supply and supporting socio-economic development in the targeted districts.
